STAN PAYNTER
PAYNTER, STAN - At the Grand Falls Manor Veterans' Wing, April 9, 2004, Mr. Charles Watson Standish Paynter of New Denmark passed away at the age of 96 years. He was the husband of the late Jean (Dixon) Paynter. Born at West Saint John in 1907, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Standish Charles Paynter. Mr. Paynter was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Brownville, Maine. He worked for CP Rail until his retirement. He was predeceased by his only sister, Mariam. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting Monday from 1 to 2 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held at the funeral home, with Pastor Kimber McNabb officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark. For those who wish, donations to the Maple Grove Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. Members of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21, will take part in the funeral service. www.oregans.ca
