STEWART, WILLIAM ALLAN - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on April 9, 2004, Mr. William Allan Stewart of L'Etang, NB, husband of Madonna (Hatt) Stewart. Born in Mascarene, NB on August 31, 1928, he was the son of Andrew James Stewart and Olive (Hinds) Stewart. A loving father and grandfather, besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Royden (Cathy) of L'Etang, NB, Lee (Michelle) of L'Etang, NB, and Garry of St. George, NB; four daughters, Nancy Coulton, Lorrie Stewart and Beth Stewart (Bernard LeBlanc), all of St. George, NB, and Lynn Bodechon (Kevin) of Saint John, NB; one sister, Marjorie Dick (Clayton) of L'Etete, NB; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Ruth Ann Stewart. William had been employed as a Security Guard at Lake Utopia Paper, as well as being a boatman for Connors Bros. Ltd for 20 years. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm with Rev. Robert Foster, Wayne Matheson and Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. Interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date.
