Born September 29, 1911 at Harvey Station NB to the late Andrew and Ella (Miller) Herbert. Survived by his wife Alma (Smith) Herbert, six daughters, Lois Frederikse, Guelph Ont., Diane Herbert, Harvey NB, Barbara Dingee (Brian) Centreville NB, Margaret Guillery (Michael) Calgary, Nancy McConnell (Andy) Centreville NB, Ruth Herbert, Calgary, sisters Muriel Price, Rothesay, NB, Anna Moffett, Mcadam NB, eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Predeceased by three sisters Elizabeth Cook, Blaine Me, Margaret Norton, Caribou Me and Nellie Lingley, Saint John NB. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Rd. Jacksonville, NB where friends may call on Friday April 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 24 at 2:00 pm from the funeral home with Rev. Fred Snyder officiating.
