MABEL ALICE IRVING

IRVING, MABEL ALICE - Mabel Alice Irving of Petitcodiac, age 98, passed away Friday, April 23, 2004 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex. Born August 25, 1905 in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late George and Ethel (Wilson) McPhee. She had been the Chaplin for the Regina Chapter of the O.E.S. for 22 years. She was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church and a former Sunday School Teacher. She is survived by daughters, Lavilla Keith (Frank) and Eileen McAllister both of Petitcodiac; son, Rev. Ralph Irving (Peggy) of Fredericton; sister, Ethel Brace of Riverview, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, W. Prescott Irving; daughter, Roseva Joyce; brothers, Charlie, Roy, George, Kitchener, Everett; sisters, Lillian, Abby. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at 2:30 pm, Rev. R. Thomas officiating. Burial will be held in the Wesleyan Union Cemetery.
