NELSON LEVI PARLEE

PARLEE, NELSON LEVI - Nelson Levi Parlee passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday April 22nd, 2004. Born in Saint John 1915, raised in Savage Harbour PEI, he was the son of the late Charles and Annie (Gunn) Parlee. Nelson is survived by a son Edward of Rothesay. He is also survived by two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren from his first marriage. Nelson was predeceased by his wife Marjorie (Thompson) in 1987; first wife Viola Taylor in 1957; brother Albert; son Nelson Charles Parlee Jr.; and step son David Taylor. Nelson was a Locomotive Engineer with the CNR for 39 years upon his retirement in 1980. He was also an International Member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday 7-9 pm. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Paul's Church, Rothesay on Tuesday April 27th, at 2pm.
