ADAMS, CHRIS - The death of Chris Adams of Hampton, wife of Neil Adams, occurred April 26, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Leicester, England. Chris worked at Dr. V.A. Snow Centre for three years in the 1980's. She then became a Human Service Counselor and worked at New Directions. She obtained a Certificate of Gerontology at St. Thomas University. She was currently a teacher's assistant with special needs students at Hampton High School and had previously worked at Hampton Middle School. Chris was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Laureate Zeta Chapter and enjoyed working with crafts. Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Claire-Louise Adams of Chicago and one son, David Richard Adams of Cambridge, England. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Thursday, 11:00am, at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton, with Rev. Ed Coleman officiating. Memorials to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
