CRISP, J.R. GORDON - The death of J.R. Gordon Crisp of St. Martins, husband of the late Loretta (McFarlane) Crisp occurred April 27, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at St. Martins, son of the late Fred and Villa (Hodsmyth) Crisp. Gordon was a veteran of WWII. He was a carpenter at Saint John Dry Dock retiring in 1980. He loved to camp and fish. He is survived by one daughter Alexandra "Sandra" Steele (Ray) of Sussex Corner; two sisters Miriam Davidson of St. Martins; Audrey Bowland of Surrey, BC; three grandchildren James Steele (Bobbie) of Edmonton, AB, Janice MacDonald (Terry) of Innisfail, AB, Beth Obermaier (Edward) of Lloydminster, AB; two great grandchildren Sarah and Michael MacDonald; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Holy Trinity Church, St. Martins with visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday and Friday. The funeral will be held Saturday, 2:00pm, at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Dana Dean officiating. Interment in Mosher Hill Cemetery. Memorials to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
