JONES, VALERIE L. - The death of Valerie (Val) Laura Jones of Charlton Place, Saint John occurred on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of Jennie Saulnier and the late Fred Jones. Valerie was a dedicated mother and grandmother and very proud of her family. Besides her mother Val is survived by four sons Thomas (Jolene) of Florida, Paul (Natalie), John (Susan) and Jamie, all of Massachusetts; two daughters Laura (Sam) Roukas and Susan McAdam, both of Massachusetts; three brothers Daryl (Donna) Jones of Massachusetts, Donald (Connie) Saulnier of Fredericton, NB, Fred Jones of Saint John; seven grandchildren: Nicole, Rachel, Katie, Tina, Nicholas, Jacqueline and Marissa, one great-grandson Daniel.?She was predeceased by her father, Harvey Saulnier. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, April 29, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 1, 2004 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Massachusetts at a later date.
