ARNOLD BYRAN COREY
COREY, ARNOLD BYRAN - Arnold Byran Corey, son of the late Sherman and Freda (Banks) Corey. Born at Temperance Vale, N.B. on June 17, 1925. His Military History; Canadian Infantry Corps 1st Battalion of Black Watch, RHR Canada (Royal Highland Regiment) and Royal Canadian Air Force, retiring in 1973. Predeceased by daughter Brenda, Parents Sherman and Freda Corey and Brother Wesley and sister Maida Pickard. Survived by his wife Lillie (Taylor) Corey, Sons Murray Corey of Vancouver, BC, Robert Corey (Louise Code) of Kanata, Ontario, Ronald Corey (Louise) of Woodstock, NB, Daughters Karen Christian of Belleville, Ontario, Sharon Murray (James) of New Maryland, New Brunswick,Gail Steeves (Brian) of Kingston, New Brunswick, Brothers Herbert Corey of Burtts Corner, Neil Corey of Grimshaw, Alberta, Sisters Glenna Burden of Mactaquac, Faye Bishop of Dartmouth, NB, Fourteen Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren , several nieces and nephews. Resting at The Culberson Funeral Home 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB with visitation on Saturday, May 1, 2004 from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from The Culberson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Leonard Cousins (Woodstock United Baptist Church) officiating. Interment to follow at the Temperance United Baptist Cemetery. Donations to Gideon Bibles or the Green Hill Lake Bible Camp would be appreciated by the family.
