FOWLER, SARA "SALLY" ELIZABETH - The death of Sara "Sally" Elizabeth Fowler of Hampton, widow of John L. Fowler occurred April 28, 2004 at Turnbull Home, Saint John. She was born at Marysville, daughter of the late Sandy and Ella (MacNeill) White. She was a secretary treasurer at Eastern Securities retiring in the early 1960's and then was a self employed bookkeeper before retiring at age 72. She is the last surviving member of her generation of the White family whose ancestors were the original settlers of Marysville. Sally was a Life Member of W.M.S. of the Baptist Church and was involved in church activities. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage at Belleisle Bay. Sally wrote poetry for special occasions in Hampton. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins including Etha and Ray Watson of Sussex Corner. She was predeceased by sisters Edith Merrithew, Hazel Rogers and brother Perc White. ?? Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, 11:00am, at Central Norton United Baptist Church, Bloomfield, with Rev. Mark Leary officiating. Interment in Marysville United Baptist Cemetery. Memorials to Central Norton Baptist Church or St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
