Passed away in the company of her loving family, after a courageous battle, on 8th July 2008, Margaret Bridget Kent (nee Delahunty) (b. 1926) of Bell Island at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Ned); sisters: Betty and Mary; and brothers: Francis and John. Leaving to mourn her sisters: Kathleen, Genevieve, Evelyn, Eileen, Patricia and Joan; brothers: Pete and Kevin; step-mother Mollie Delahunty; children: Edward (Eileen), Paul (Liz), Sharon (Dave), Lorne (Linda), Maureen, Brian (Lynn), Madonna (Rui), Wayne (Wanda) and Chris (Corina); grandchildren: Eddy (Terri), David (Lindsay), Ricky (Renee), Jennifer, Amanda, Matthew, Joey and Stephanie; and her great-grandchild Felix; in addition to innumerable friends and a widely extended family. A devoted mother and tireless supporter of the St. Anne's Sodality in St. Michael's Parish, she leaves behind the fondest memories in all who knew her.
