91, Sydney It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Clarence Morrison on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008. Born in Sydney to the late Neil and Sarah (Hynd) Morrison. A veteran of the Second World War, Clarence served in England and France. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and the pensioners’ club and a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ashby branch. Clarence was an avid skater, loved to dance and walk. Clarence was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn ‘Toots’ (Windsor) Morrison and his brother, William ‘Bill’. He is survived by his daughter, Joan; sister, Mary Mader, Ingonish; nieces, Patricia Vanderwyst, Ingonish, Pamela MacDonald, Ontario and Judy MacDonald, Truro; nephew, Glenn Mader, Manitoba. He will be sadly missed by his loving companion, Marion MacDonald. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
