CARR, GEORGE HAZEN - The death of George Carr of Winnipeg, Manitoba, formerly of Apohaqui, NB, passed away peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg on April 30, 2004 at the age of 64. Son of Phyllis Green, of Apohaqui. He was predeceased by his father Hazen Carr and step-father Douglas Green. He is survived by his children, Kevin, David, Michael and Shelley of Hamilton, ON; his companion Ruth Lahn; special sons Darcy and David of Winnipeg; sisters Pauline Thompson (Lawrence) of Sussex, Joan Green of Toronto, Barbara Gillcrist (Sterling) of Quispamsis and Kelly Fillmore (James) of Norton; brothers Earl Green (Raymonde) of Apohaqui and Fraser Green (Beth) of Sussex Corner; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Service to be held at the Riverview Health Centre Chapel in Winnipeg on May 6, 2004. Cremation with interment at a later date. A memorial service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Sussex, NB, May 10, 2004 at 6:30 PM with Father Arnie Hachey officiating.
