SMITH, MILDRED (ALLABY) (TOTTEN) - The death of Mildred (Allaby) (Totten) Smith of Barnesville, widow of Fred C. Smith occurred May 4, 2004 at the Loch Lomond Villa. She was born at Hanford Brook, daughter of the late Lensworth and Georgietta (Hosford) Allaby. She was a resident of Barnesville the greater part of her life and also lived on the Kingston Peninsula for thirty years. Mildred was a member of Silver Links Seniors and N.B. Senior Citizens Federation Inc. She is survived by five daughters Irene Totten of Grove Hill, Etta Jones of Otter Lake, Audrey Lowe (James) of Barnesville, Shirley Bradley (James) of Grove Hill, Louise Smith (Raymond) of Hampton; two sons Henry Totten (Dora) of Saint John, Francis Totten of Barnesville; two step-daughters Joan Gorham of Fredericton, Doreen Earle of Model Farm Road; one sister Emma Hamlyn (Frank) of England; one brother Ernest Allaby (Katherine) of Fredericton; 40 grandchildren, 59 great great grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 1:00 pm, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Edward Powell officiating. Interment in Barnesville Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or the donor's choice. Visiting 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm Thursday.
