MARTIN, ELDORA E. - The death of Eldora E. Martin of Hampton, widow of Leonard Martin occurred May 10, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Salt Springs, daughter of the late Elmer and Jessie (Campbell) Sherwood. Eldora was a primary caregiver to many people and enjoyed cooking. She loved her family and looking after her grandchildren and extended family and friends. She is survived by three daughters Vonda Arbeau (Harold) of Quispamsis, Susan Harvey (Bill) of Hampton, Nancy Mallery (Mike) of Hampton; three sons, Joseph Martin (Sheila) of Hampton, Gerald Martin (Pam) of Hampton, Rev. David Martin of Miramichi; one sister Esther DeLong of AB; two brothers David Sherwood (Ruby) of BC, Vernon Sherwood (Mavis) of BC; ten grandchildren, one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Leonard Jr. and one grandson Paul Martin. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Thursday at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton, with funeral mass at 10:30am. ?Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Norton. Memorials to Paul Martin Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family. Visiting 7-9pm Tuesday and 2-4pm and 7-9pm Wednesday.
