DAVIDA M. WILSON
WILSON, DAVIDA M. - Davida M. Wilson of 1100 Manawagonish Rd, West Saint John, NB, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, May, 9th, 2004. She is the daughter of the late Melbourne F. & B. Hazel (Hamm) Wasson and wife of the late George M. Wilson Jr. of Lorneville, since 1937. Davida lived in Lorneville all her married life. She is the last of her immediate family. She moved to West Saint John in 1982 after her husband's death. She was a life member of the U.C.W., life member of the Womens Institute, member of Spruce Lake Womens Institute, St. Marks United Church, the Fellowship Group and Afternoon Unit of the UCW, member of Diamond Seniors, the Hillcrest Villagers, Charter Member of Lorneville 50 & Over Club, former member of the Lorneville United Church. When she was able she enjoyed travelling, knitting, crocheting, poetry and entertaining her many friends at home. Davida is survived by her daughter Carole A. Lawrence (Grenville), son Dwight (Lois) all of Prince George BC, seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Angel, Shelley Smith, Michael and Trevor Wilson, Daniel, Douglas and Darren Wilson, 11 great grandchildren, Stephen Angel, Sean and Sarah Smith, Ryan and Luke Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, Dusty and Dylan Wilson, Dailyne and Trevor Wilson and Darzia Wilson, several nieces, nephews and cousins, two sisters in law. Besides her husband she was predeceased by son Eldon, three brothers and one sister. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 13th, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Visitation at Fallsview will be on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Donations may be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
