GAUTREAU, JOSEPH WILLIAM - Joseph William Gautreau of Canaan Station, NB, passed away at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB, on Thursday May 13, 2004 at the age of 85. Husband of the late Teresa (McNamara) Gautreau, Joseph was born in Saint-Paul de Kent, NB, September 20, 1918 to the late Camille Gautreau and Exelda Devarennes. He was a CN Engineer prior to his retirement. Joseph attended Saint-Paul de Kent RC Church and was a veteran of WWII. Surviving is daughter, Jean Bolduc (Gaetan) of Fredericton; brother, Jean-Gerald of Rogersville; two grandchildren, Audrey Jean and Patti-Anne; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Jerome (Jerry) (1973); two sisters Trevina and Corine; four brothers, Melite, Edouard, Zoel, and Alfred. Funeral service will be held on Monday May 17, 2004 at 11:00 am at Saint-Paul de Kent RC Church where remains will be resting in the Slumber Room until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Visiting will take place on Sunday, May 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday, May 17 from 9 to 10:45am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
