HARDY, ANNIE HOPENIA - Peacefully, at Yvonne's Special Care Home, Titusville, NB on May 16, 2004, Mrs. Annie Hopenia Hardy, 92, wife of the late Perley Hardy. Born in Digby, Nova Scotia on November 19, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Edward Chase Campbell and Stella Rose Neill (Dixon) Campbell. She is survived by one son, Steven of Saint John, NB; two daughters, Gladys LaKing of Saint John, NB and Dorothy Westcott of L'Etete, NB; two sisters, Kathleen Campbell of Pocologan, NB and Marion "Ruby" Boyd of Pennfield, NB; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special care giver, Mary L. Chiasson. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Wally, Burpie and Neddie, and three sisters, Ethel, Mildred and Eva. In her earlier years, Annie had worked as a fish packer for Connor's Bros. Ltd., Blacks Harbour, NB. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held in the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am, followed by interment in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
