87, North Sydney It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Gerald Edward Cox, 87, a longtime resident of Young Avenue, North Sydney, on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in North Sydney, he was a son of the late James and Geraldine (Bulmer) Cox. Gerald was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the Canadian Army. He was a member of St. John Anglican Church, North Sydney. He is survived by his two sisters, Frances, of Toronto, and Lucille, of Oshawa, and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice, Marjorie, and a brother, Freeman. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside committal service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. in Lakeside Cemetery, with Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the W.J.
