St. Catharines, Ont. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Wilson which occurred Oct. 21, 2008, at St. Catharines’ General Hospital. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Irene (Murphy) and Buddy Wilson. Earl will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Sandra Wilson and Donna Downe; special son-in-law, Bobby Downe and much loved grandchildren, Danny, Tonya and Joey Dembicki. Also survived by one sister, Irene (Wilfred Crummey), New Waterford; and two brothers, Gerald ‘Mutt’, Dominion and Tommy (Marjorie), New Waterford. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Grace), one sister, Thelma (Marshall Jessome) and by seven brothers, Richard, Bernard ‘Tonne’, Russell, Cecil, Clayton, Lloyd and Leslie (in infancy). There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Parish of St. Leonard, St. Agnes site. A reception will follow at St. Agnes Hall following the burial. All are welcome.
