McEWEN, LOIS WANDA - Mrs. Lois Wanda McEwen of the Kiwanis Nursing Home and formerly of 17 Wallace Court, Sussex, New Brunswick, passed away at Kiwanis Nursing Home on May 26, 2004 at the age of 91. Born in Mansfield Ontario on May 26, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Edward Anderson and Mary Jane (Hawkins)and the beloved wife of the late Clifford McEwen who passed away in 1996. Lois is survived by daughter, Mary Jane McEwen of Sussex, as well as several nieces and nephews. Lois graduated in 1936 from St. Michaels Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Nursing Sister in the RCAF during WWII. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday 6-9 pm.
