JACOBSON, EDITH LOIS - The death of Edith Lois Jacobson, of Back Bay, NB, wife of the late Earl Jacobson, occurred on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB. Born in Back Bay, NB on August 22, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Fred Frye and Pearl French. Edith was a secretary for Paul Revere Insurance, Worcester, Mass.. She is survived by one brother, Taylor Frye of Utopia, NB; one sister, Rowena Rae of Rothesay, NB; several nieces and nephews. Edith was pre-deceased by four sisters, Heloise Frye, Lillian Grant, Pearl Taylor and Edna Garlind; and six brothers, Neil, Fred, Carmen, Millend, Ronald and Donald. No visitation by family request. A private graveside service was held on Sunday, June 6, 2004, at 2 pm at St. George Rural Cemetery, with Rev. David Haddon officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to St. George Funeral Home, (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB.
