HANLEY, FARREN GLEN - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on Saturday June 5, 2004, the death of Mr. Farren Glen Hanley of Pennfield, NB, husband of Margaret "Maggie" Louise (Higgins) Hanley. Born in Blacks Harbour NB, on March 10, 1960, he was a son of the late Hollis Percy Cook and the late Treva Belle (Harris) Hanley. Farren worked as a labourer for Connors Brothers and Larry Foster. Surviving besides his loving wife Maggie, Farren will be missed and always loved by his children, Joel (Amanda) and daughters Aimee (Jeff) and Lynnsi, and his loving grandson Zachary; eight sisters, Crystal Parks (Gary), Vickie Mersereau (Kevin), Rhoda Kernighan (Michael), Patricia Taylor (Larry Sr.), Twila McLaughlin (David), Debra Hanley, Marla McGee, and Lorraine Hanley (Billy); five brothers, James Hanley (Edith), Randall Hanley (Christine), Ross Hanley (Betty), Eldon Hanley (Marilyn), and Maynard Hanley (Ellen); one uncle; two aunts; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Evangeline Higgins; one brother-in-law and four sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Farren was predeceased by a brother, Clark Hanley and a sister, Edna Hooper. A devoted family man, Farren was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved music. He especially enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandson Zachary. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held on Wednesday June 9, 2004 from Christ Church (Anglican) in Pennfield, NB, at 11:00 am. with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. In Farren's Memory donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
