McQUINN, GLENYS M. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, June 14th, 2004; Glenys Mary (Greenland) (Curtis) McQuinn, wife of Doug McQuinn of Quispamsis, NB. Born in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, she is the daughter of the late Hayward and Susie Greenland. Glenys had a great love for children serving as leader with the Girl Guides for many years. She also served her community as a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Surviving in addition to her husband, Doug, are her children Justin Curtis (Leah Collins) of Moncton, Lisa Curtis of Quispamsis, Tracy Edwards (Randy Phillips) of Saint John, brothers Jim (Judy) of Mt. Pearl, Nfld, Bob (Marg) of Clarenville, Nfld, sisters-in-law Ruth McQuinn, Lorna (Bill) Balemans, brothers-in-law Dave McQuinn, Don (Lois) McQuinn, grandchildren, Erin, Kevin, Stephanie, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the visitation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at St. David's United Church, Rothesay, NB. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall, followed by interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada, or the Brain Tumor Research Centre of McGill University would be appreciated by the family.
