BRENDA RACKLEY

RACKLEY, BRENDA - Brenda (Lemon) Rackley of Saint John, NB, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday June 14, 2004. Born in Marysville, NB on January 28, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Royce and Hazel (Lewis) Lemon. Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Jack; sons Michael and Mark; brothers Terrance (Judy), and Robert; sisters Bonnie (Kenneth) and Krista (Bev); uncles Charlie Lewis (Sandra), Wayne Lemon and Lincoln Lemon; aunts Christine Lewis and Edith Armstrong. Several nephews and nieces also survive her. Brenda went into nursing in 1975 where she worked for several years in Day Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital. Brenda was a member of St. Mary & St. Bartholomew's Church. One of Brenda's wishes was to express her gratitude for all who prayed for her and her family throughout her illness. Many thanks to Rev. Greg McMullin, Rev. Wally Corey, Rev. Mac Campbell and hospital chaplain Rev. Bill LeGrand for their spiritual support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the outstanding care given to Brenda from all the nurses of Palliative Care. You will not be forgotten. Brenda was blessed with seeing her youngest son graduate, which meant a great deal to her. Brenda was a very unique and special person who will be missed by many. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from St. Mary & St. Bartholomew's Church on Thursday June 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
