DEMERSE, JOAN - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 16th, 2004, Joan (Theobald) Demerse of Quispamsis, NB. Born in Donnington Sussex, England, she is the daughter of the late George W. and Evelyn M. (People) Theobald. Joan was a member of St. Augustine's Church, Quispamsis, NB. She is survived by three daughters, Adrienne Downs (Colin) of Quispamsis, Carol Fry (Peter) of Barrie, Ont., and Susan Myer (Tim) of Ohio, U.S.A.; two brothers, David (Pam) and Neil (Maureen) of England; one sister Myra Henly of England; five grandchildren, Stacey, Greg, Lori, David, Jodi; three great grandchildren, Cole, Jackson and Olivia; several nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by one brother Peter and one sister Margaret Wuytts. By Joan's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends are welcomed to attend a service of remembrance to be held on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702). Donations to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
