GUIGNARD, CECILE - The death of Cecile Guignard of Rocmaura Nursing Home occurred at her residence on Friday, June 18, 2004. Mrs. Guignard was born in Bathurst, a daughter of the late Phillip and Leocadie (Doiron) Guignard, and had lived the greater part of her life in Saint John. She had been employed in the Housekeeping Dept. of St. Joseph's Hospital until her retirement a number of years ago. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Michael Frigault, and her second husband, Theodule Guignard. She is survived by five daughters, Diana Doucette (Arthur) of Willow Grove, Levina Losier of Charlottetown, Gertrude Carrier (Fred) of St. Stephen, Theresa Ball (John) of St. Albert's, Alberta, and Jeannette Stiles (Jim) of Trenton, Ont.; three brothers, Stanley Guignard (Paula) and Adelard Guignard, both of Allardville, N.B., and Achille "Archie" Guignard (Eleanor) of Saint John; one sister, Leocadie Roy of Bathurst; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home with visiting on Friday from 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday morning at 10:30.
