BURNETT, GEORGE E. - The death of George E. Burnett of Rothesay, husband of the late Helen (Dodge) Burnett occurred June 21, 2004, surrounded by his family at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born at West Saint John, son of the late George and Lily (Richardson) Burnett. George was a veteran of World War II serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, Atlantic. He was a member of Club 60, Rothesay Baptist Church and R.C.A.S.C. Atlantic. He is survived by daughter-in-law Patricia (Kiervin) Burnett of Rothesay, granddaughter Kim Scott (George) of Rothesay; great granddaughter Abigail, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons Richard and Robert. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Wednesday, 11:00am, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Braun officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
