McADAM, JEAN ELIZABETH - Loving wife of 55 years to Henry Roy McAdam of Grand Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Saint John West in 1927 to the late Frank and Jennie (Godsoe) Bartlett. Jean and Roy loved to play badminton in their earlier days and spent many wonderful times dancing over the course of their marriage. Jean loved life, animals and her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her devoted husband are her children, Kim (Judy), Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Kathryn Robichaud, Quispamsis, NB, Peter (Lynn), Nerepis, NB, and Craig (Wendy), Glenwood, NB; grandchildren Matthew, Laura, Luke, Marc, Kara, Shane, Chad and Justin; brothers Maurice (Ann) Bartlett, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, and Ralph (Audrey) Bartlett, Hampton, NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her brothers Lawrence and Bob Bartlett and her sister Viola McLeod. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701) with visiting on Monday, from the hours of 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 11 am from "Fallsview" Chapel. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the "Fallsview" Family Reception Center. Interment in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Woodmans Point. Donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, the War Amps or the charity of donors' choice.
