WITHERLY, P. JOSEPH - The death of P. Joseph Witherly of Arthurette, occurred on June 26, 2004 at his residence at the age of 85. Born in Arthurette he was the son of the late Harry and Martha (Gillies) Witherly. He is survived by wife Ethel Witherly; four daughters Marguerite (Clarence) Campbell of Fredericton, Carol (Donald T.) Wolverton of Centreville, Sandra (Vaughn) Tompkins and Marla (Calvin) Henry of Arthurette; two sons Marshall (Sandra) Witherly of Acton, Ont, and Vaughan (Brenda) Witherly of Arthurette;18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one sister Greta Hoey of Newmarket, Ont. Predeceased by his parents and one grandson Corey Tompkins. Joseph was on the Church boards for many years. Resting at Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover with visiting hrs on Monday June 28 from 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 29 at 2 PM from Calvary Tabernacle with Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. Interment in the Arthurette United Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
