CAMPBELL, COLIN BARRY - The death of Colin Barry Campbell, 58, of Fairfield, husband of Carol (Allaby) Campbell occurred July 06, 2004 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PEI. He was born at Saint John, son of the late Colin and Florence (Betts) Campbell. Colin grew up in Saint John and resided in Lloydminster, AB, for twenty years before moving back to the Saint John area. He was a long haul truck driver employed by D & J Trucking. Colin enjoyed woodworking, cooking and the biggest joy in his life were his two granddaughters. Surviving besides his wife are two sons Neil (Kari) of Brooks, AB, Matthew (Sandra) of Chesterville, ON; two granddaughters Grace and Lydia, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by Carol's parents, brothers, sisters and their families. He is the last surviving member of his family and was predeceased by brothers Douglas, Frederick and Malcolm. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 11:00am, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kent Burdett officiating. Cremation will be followed by interment in Church of Good Shepherd Cemetery, Saint John. Memorials to N.B. Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
