JAMES BURTON HENDERSON
HENDERSON, JAMES BURTON - After a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 8, 2004, James Burton Henderson of 705 Dunn Avenue, Saint John West, husband of Muriel Louise (Burden) Henderson. He was the son of the late Gordon and Laura (Coleman) Henderson. He was employed at Irving Pulp & Paper for 47 years where he retired in 1992. He was the General Superintendent for 26 years. He enjoyed his summer cottage at Crystal Beach. James was also a active member in the Irving Pulp & Paper Retirees Club. Surviving besides his wife Muriel are two daughters, Ann (Brian) Maxwell of Saint John, Karen (Scott) Macdonald of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, three grand children Laura Maxwell, Cody and Victoria Macdonald. He was also survived by two sisters Shirley (Stan) Malouin of Miramichi NB and Glenna (Harry) Gaunce of Cambridge Narrows NB. One brother Douglas (Carol) of Moncton NB and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Grace and Judy Henderson. Visitation at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) on Saturday 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at "Fallsview" Chapel. Interment will be in Ceder Hill Extension Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will take place at the "Fallsview" Family Reception Centre. Donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors choice.
