MULHERIN, MARIE - Peacefully, at the Foyer Notre-Dame, Saint-Leonard, July 8, 2004, Miss Marie Mulherin of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 86 years. Born at Grand Falls in 1918, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Susan (Parent) Mulherin. Marie worked at Dalfen's Department Store for many years before becoming ill. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces Dorothy and Shirley of Toronto, Diane of Saint John, Marlene, Sandra and Shirley of Montreal, Nancy of Summerville, Judi of Toronto, Donna of Acton, Ma. and Mary Susan of Bothell, Wa., nephews Laurence of Toronto, Donald of Saint John and David of Alberta. Marie also cared for her parents at home before her illness. She was predeceased by sisters, Monda, Irene, Emmeline, Leitha, Dorothy, Lorraine and Isabel and brothers Hubert, Laurence and Harold. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 10th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the Assumption cemetery.
