YVON LECLERC

LECLERC, YVON - On the Tobique River at Rowena, N.B., July 8, 2004, Yvon Leclerc of Grand Falls passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54 years. He was married to the former Michèle Ruest. Born at Edmundston in 1950, he was the youngest child of the late Esdras and Bertha (Ouellette) Leclerc. Mr. Leclerc was a physical education teacher for many years, after which he started his business ventures with a convenience store and later, with his wife, as owners of Tim Hortons franchises. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Paul (Carole) of Grand Falls and André (friend Annik) of Sherbrooke, Quebec, one brother, Louis Leclerc (Jeannette) of Mattawa, Ontario, three sisters, Odette Poitras of Grand Falls, Anne Michaud (Gilbert N.) of Saint-Andre and Marise Cote (Gerald Lagace) of Drummond, as well as nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 p.m. His funeral will be held Monday, July 12th at 4 p.m. from the St-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the St-Georges Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Regional Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Members of the Boy Scouts will meet for prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. www.oregans.ca
