MORROW, WILLIAM GILBERT 'BILL' - The death of William Gilbert 'Bill' Morrow, husband of Elizabeth 'Betty' (Butler) Morrow, occurred on July 10, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on May 28, 1925, he was the son of the late William and Ellen 'Nellie' (Dingee) Morrow. Mr. Morrow was a veteran of WW II having served overseas with the Canadian Army. He was a long time employee of Ocean Steel retiring as Construction Supervisor in 1990. He was a member of F&AM Carleton Union Lodge No. 8 in excess of 50 years. Besides his wife Elizabeth 'Betty' he will be sadly missed by his son William Gilbert Morrow Jr. and his wife Judy of Bay Roberts, NF; his daughters Rizpah Ann (Wayne Longmore) of New York City, Mary-Ellen Costello (Michael) of Saint John; one sister Mrs. Rizpah Ann Linton of Saint John; his three grandsons; two granddaughters; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Simeon Rubin. At the family request there will be no visiting hours at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424).
