MARGARET DOUTHWRIGHT
DOUTHWRIGHT, MARGARET - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 14th, 2004; Margaret Anne (MacFarland) Douthwright, wife of thirty years to Peter Douthwright of Clifton Royal, NB, after a year long battle with cancer, bravely fought. Margie was born in Saint John, NB, the daughter of Shirley MacFarland and the late David MacFarland. Margaret was a member of the Parish of Kingston and of P.O.K.S. (Parish of Kingston Singers); she was an avid gardener, talented seamstress and was known by many as a wonderful cook. Surviving in addition to her husband Peter and mother Shirley are her daughters Angela, Andrea Sabean (Eric) and Allison, sisters Elaine Flemming (Bud), Jackie Todd (Mark), Patsy Sparks (Gary), brother David (Cindy), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17th, 2004 at 11:00AM from All Saints Anglican Church, Clifton Royal. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery followed by a reception at the Kingston Parish Hall. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Margaret's family would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dolan, Dr. Burnell, nurses and staff of 5A South whom we have grown to love over this past year for their compassion and care.
