Austin Joseph Burbine RIVER HEBERT - Austin Joseph Burbine age 72, of River Hebert, N.S., passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Lower Cove, he was a son of the late Frank and Sarah (Landry) Burbine. Austin was a dedicated employee of Sifto Salt Plant in Nappan where he was employed for over 45 years. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and spending time `at the Lower Cove Beach and with his special uncle Alex Burbine. He is survived by one daughter Sherry (Stewart) of River Hebert, two sons Jamie (Cindy) of Upper Rawdon, N.S. and Dale (Shelley) of River Hebert, one sister Yvonne (Ron) Elliott of Amherst, 5 grandchildren Chelsea, Kalena, Kale, Devon and Dawn, two nephews David and Scott Elliott. Austin is also survived by his extended family Michelle, Bruce, Christopher, Eric and Melanie. Cremation has taken place. His family will receive visitors at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Campbell's Funeral Chapel with Father David MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie. Donations in Austin's memory may be made to the CPR Unit of the River Hebert Fire Department. www.campbells-amherst.ca
