DRYSDALE, MARY ANITA - The death of Anita (Seamans) Drysdale in her 80th year, of North Vancouver, occurred at Lions Gate Hospital North Vancouver on Sunday July 4th. Born in St. George, N.B., Anita was the daughter of the late Joshua and Bertha Seamans and wife of Aurele Drysdale who passed away in 1990. Anita is survived by her son James Drysdale (Bonnie) of Montreal and daughter Carol Smith of North Vancouver, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister Edith and brother Norman both of St. George. She was predeceased by son, George, brothers Hazen, Harry, Lorne, Keith, William and sister Stella. After the war Anita and her husband Aurele resided in Bathurst, Montreal and Vancouver. Anita was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She attended St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in North Vancouver where friends and relatives gathered for a Memorial Service for Anita on Saturday, July 10th. Anita will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
