WHITEWAY, ALEXANDER ANGUS - The passing of Alexander Whiteway of Woodstock, NB occurred July 22, 2004 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital at the age of 71. Born in Prince Edward Island he was the son of the late William and Agnes (MacPherson) Whiteway. Alexander is survived by his wife Dorothy (McGee) Whiteway of Woodstock, NB, daughter Ann Whiteway Brown (Chris) of Woodstock, NB, son Ian (Sue) of Riverview, NB, son Blake (Mary) of Woodstock, NB and daughter Jeannette Thornton (Sheldon) of Woodstock, NB, five grandchildren and five step grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday 10:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Murray River Cemetery, P.E.I. at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Donor's choice.
