AMHERST — C. William (Bill) Lucci age 56, of Amherst passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Port Elgin, N.B., he was a son of William Lucci of Amherst and the late Claudine (Mullins) Lucci. Bill lived in Goose Bay where he worked on the army base and moved back to Amherst in 1979. He worked at Ropak in Springhill and owned and operated Lucci’s Catering Service. Bill had a passion for music and played in several bands in Amherst including the Fugitives and his own Bill Lucci Band. His grandchildren were the love of his life. Bill is survived by one daughter Allison (Scott Vance) of River Hebert, one son Billy (Patsy) of Amherst and their mother Dolores (White) Lucci, a sister Cathy Lucci of Toronto, grandchildren Morgan, Lucas, Cameron, Nicholas, Justin and Jordan and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Jack and one nephew Jeremy. Cremation will take place. His family will receive visitors at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at 2 p.m.from Campbell’s Chapel with Rev. Raymond Fancy officiating. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
