OUELLETTE, LEO C. - 1924 - 2004. At the Grand Falls Manor, August 15, 2004, Leo C. Ouellette of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 80 years. Husband of the late Marielle Pelletier (1988) and special friend of Therese Rioux. Born at Drummond in 1924, he was a son of the late Come and Marie (Bourgoin) Ouellette. Mr. Ouellette was a retired potato farmer. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, Jean-Rheal, Paul and Edmond, one sister, Blanche Levesque, sisters-in-law, Marie, Lorette and Bernadette, brothers-in-law, Camille Levesque, Edgar Pelletier and Rheal Lalonde, also by one grandson Marc. Besides his special friend, Therese Rioux, he his survived by four sons, Claude (Lecha), John (Denise), Richard (Sylvie) all three of Drummond and Leonard of Toronto, by five daughters, Nicole (Gerry Levesque) of Grand Falls, Ginette (Dr. Maurice Boulay) of Fredericton, Pauline (Mario Longchamp) of Longueuil, Quebec, and the twins Denise (Dany Lallemand) of Paris, France, Louise (Guy Houde) of Charlesbourg, Quebec, two daughters-in-law, Pierrette Cyr and Dany Gagnon, 16 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He his also survived by ten brothers, Pitre (Leonne) of Edmundston, Landry (Irene) of Bristol, Connecticut, Fernand (Yvette) of St-Bruno, Quebec, Adolphe (Mona) of Sarnia, Ontario, Come (Colette), Jules (Norma) both of Drummond, Pat (Lorette), Laurier, Laurent (Berthilde) and Roger, all four of Grand Falls, by two sisters, Rose (Augustin Castonguay) of Grand Falls and Therese (Barton Gongaware) of Taylor, Michigan, and all the members of the Pelletier family, as well as 97 nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. His funeral will be held Friday August 20th at 4 p.m. from the St-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the St-Georges Cemetery.
