MARY LOUISA TRECARTIN

TRECARTIN, MARY LOUISA - The death of Mrs. Mary Louisa Trecartin, wife of the late Robert A. Trecartin, of Saint John, occurred on Tuesday August 31, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1922 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John and Elsie (Fillier) Chard. Mary was a life long resident of Saint John, a Graduate from Vocational High School, and had worked for Foley Pottery, Saint John Shipbuilding; in later years she worked for the Irving Oil Distribution Office. She was a chartered member of Park Avenue United Church, and the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children Jacquelyn O' Byrne (Frank) of Oakville, Ontario, Robert Trecartin (Debbie) of Saint John and William Trecartin (Sheree) of Darlings Island; ten grandchildren; one sister Jean Harrison of Renforth; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one brother Herbert. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday September 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
