CLIFFORD KENNETH WHITE

WHITE, CLIFFORD KENNETH - Husband of the late Imelda (Vautour) White, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Nelson and Ella (McAuley) White. Clifford was a veteran of WWII and member of the R.C.L. branch #2. He was a longshoreman for most of his life and loved to hunt and fish. He had a passion for gardening and was known as a great cook and baker throughout the family. Clifford is survived by his son Kenneth (Catherine) of Grand Bay / Westfield, NB; daughters Linda (Norman Conway) of Red Head, NB and Charlene (James Betts) of Kingston, NB; step-daughter Assunta "Bunny" Patterson of Saint John, NB; brothers Earl of Toronto, ON, Harold (Bess) of Saint John, NB and Frank "Butch" (Anita) of Prince of Wales, NB; sisters Gert Douglas of Toronto, ON, Pam (Ralph Lynch) of Fredericton, NB and Doris LeBlanc and Donna White both of Saint John, NB, as well as, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Clifford was also predeceased by sisters Leoda White and Alvina Ingersoll. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Tribute To A Veteran Service will also be held Thursday at 7 pm from the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2004 in Fallsview Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am immediately followed by a reception in the Fallsview Family Reception Center. Private family interment will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Clifford's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB would be appreciated by the family.
