NESS, JANE (JEAN) LAPRAIK - The death of Jean Ness, age 78, wife of Edward Ness, of Belleisle Creek, NB, occurred at her residence, on Sunday, September 5, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie (Leckie) McLaughlan. She is survived by her husband; daughters Jane Ness, and Donna and Stephen Watters, Belleisle Creek, Dianne Ness, Riverview; sons Joe, Jeff, and John and Melanie Ness all of Belleisle Creek; grandchildren Stephanie, Cory, Casey, Patrick, Sarah and Jacob; sister Dina Dykeman, Jemseg. She was predeceased by brothers Bob, Bill, Andy and Jack, and sisters Nan and Annie. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton with visiting Tuesday, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Hatfield Point Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2004, followed by burial in Union Cemetery, Belleisle Creek.
