TOMPKINS, MARIE E. - Marie E. Tompkins of Somerville, born August 17, 1929, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Monday, September 6, 2004. She is survived by six sons; Stephen (Kathy) of Saint John, Michael (Marilyn) of Peterborough, ON, Blair (Annabelle) of Woodstock, Victor (Carolann) of Waterville, Dennis (Sharon) of Lower Windsor, Peter (Sylvia) of Centreville, three daughters; Catherine McKean of BC, Judy (Larry) Clark of Hartland, Debby Boone of Fredericton, 23 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers; Max, Fred, Russell and Murray Rideout, sisters; Dorothy Myatte, Phyllis Rideout, Delores Spencer, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Coldstream Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.
