HASLETT, WILLIAM LLOYD - The death of Mr. William Lloyd Haslett, loving husband of June (Trecartin) Haslett, occurred on Saturday September 11, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1930, in Saint John he was the son of the late William J. and Ethel (Foster) Haslett. Bill was a Police Officer for 17 years with the City of Saint John, he was an avid bowler and a friend of Bill W. Besides his loving wife June, he is survived by two sons William J. Haslett (Nancy) of Rothesay and Peter Haslett (Rachel) of Saint John; one daughter Suanne de Bot (Andre) of Florida; brother James W. Haslett (Alberta) of Somerville, NB; sister Wanda Cusack-Cushing of Saint John; two grandchildren William M. and Katie; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Gordon Haslett. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday September 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Following cremation, interment will take place at a later date.
