HENRY, ALVERTA - Alverta Ruby Henry, 91, of K.E. Spencer Home Moncton and formerly Petitcodiac passed away Tuesday September 14, 2004 at the home. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Annie (Douthwright) Steeves. A homemaker she was also an Avon Representative and a member of the Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church, the W.M.S. of the Church, past member of the Wheaton Settlement Women's Institute and senior groups in Salisbury and Petitcodiac. Survived by daughters Sharon Elliott (Robert) of Lower Mountain Road, Marlene Henry of Halifax, sons Stuart of St. Stephen, Terrance (Faye) of Havelock sister Lena Prosser of Riverview, brother Eldon Steeves of Campbellton , eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband David (1998), infant son Dale, two grandsons, sister Aleen Wilson, brother Arnold Steeves. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday September 17 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes officiating.
