DOUGLAS G. BLACK

BLACK, DOUGLAS G. - The death of Douglas G. Black, husband of the late Patricia C. (Clark) Black, of Saint John East, occurred on September 15, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Henry and Bridget (Hurley) Black. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces during WW II. He was a member of ILA Local # 273 and was a self-employed trucker. He is survived by his sons Joseph (Kim Downing) and Douglas and his wife Eleanor all of Saint John, his daughter Lorraine (Hayward) Kincade and her husband Ken of Quispamsis, his grandchildren Shelley, Ryan, Russell, Cory, Joseph, Michelle, Kalie, Maureen, Patricia, Kendra, Karla, David and Danielle, his five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His 12 brothers and sisters predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2004, at 10:00 AM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
