WHEATON, DOUGLAS E. - The death of Douglas E. Wheaton of Midland, formerly of Hampton, occurred September 19, 2004 at his residence. He was born at Hampton, son of the late William and Mabel (Kelly) Wheaton. He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton. He is survived by two daughters, Bertha Scribner (Brian) of Stanley, Sally Wheaton of Belleisle; one son, John Wheaton (Elizabeth) of Midland; and nine grandchildren. There will be private visitation and funeral service. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Memorials to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Visiting 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Tuesday.
