Survived by two sisters, Eva (Leicester) Spires, and Cairine McShane, two brothers, Gordon (Rose) Gowan, and Robert (Betty) Gowan, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, St. Andrews, NB on Friday, September 24, 2004 at 12 Noon with Rev. Paul LeBlanc officiating. Interment at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery, St. Andrews, NB. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday September 23, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
